Nursery 2 ACROBATICS

Welcome to the explore dance program. It is a wonderful opportunity for students to be introduced to dance at London. The sessions are 7 lessons in duration. They are available throughout the year starting in September through until August. 

Nursery 2 Acrobatics is for students who love to tumble!  Acrobatics is a dance discipline, which incorporates elements of Gymnastics, Jazz, Tumbling, and basic Contortion. In this class, students will learn the rudiments of Acrobatic skills with emphasis on safety, correct execution,  strength, and to a lesser degree, flexibility. The course is focused on body conditioning. This will enable the development of strength and flexibility.  

Uniform:

The visual appearance of a dancer is as much a part of the art of Dance as the movement itself. Classroom attire is particularly important. It must allow the dancer complete freedom to experience movement while maintaining safety. It must also allow the instructor and observer the opportunity to view the alignment of the body and the movement itself. At the London School of Dance, we maintain a strict policy regarding the wearing of regulation uniforms and correct grooming. Please see below for the required uniform for this level.

Prérequis : Recommended for students between the ages of 42-48 months old. The student must be able to walk unassisted and be toilet trained. Please consult with Admissions for your personal Class Advisement.
