Therapeutic Leisure Swim

Leisure Swim is an unguided swim where individuals can work on their own exercise and therapy goals. Our unique therapeutic pool is equipped to enable easy access for all abilities. Our pool’s warmer water makes therapy easier, relaxing muscles while helping build muscle strength and improve balance. Pool temperature is maintained at approximately 88 degrees. The smaller pool is also quieter and slightly warmer 92 – 94 degree. 

Program Information

• Cost is $8.00/ per swim.
• Registration and pricing is by session only based on one swim per week. 
• **Therapeutic Lane Swims will have a lane rope in, swim is gear for gentle lap swimmers. 
• Multi-passes are an online option only $100.00/ 10 swims 
• In person or phone in registration is available weekdays 9am – 3pm 
• Aquatic entrance is located at the South East parking lot across from Fairwinds Lodge behind Shoppers.
• Parking for the pool is directly in front of the pool windows and pool door entrance.
• Facility tours are available please call to book an appointment. 
• Closures due to weather or unforeseen mechanical failures credits will be issued. Notices will be posted at the pool's entrances and the pool's facebook page.
• The pool is closed all holiday weekends and holiday Mondays.

Notes : Lift and Transfer training is required prior to using the lift system. Lift and Transfer training will be held on a need basis please call the Aquatics office to book a training time.

Prérequis : HELP KEEP OUR POOL CLEAN 1. Please remove outdoor shoes in lobby. Outdoor shoes are not permitted in the change rooms.  2. Open wounds are not permitted in the pool. 3. Please do not apply any lotions or creams prior as it alters the water chemistry.  4. All patrons must FULLY shower before entering the pool. This helps maintain proper water chemistry for the pool and improves overall water quality. (Pool Reg O. Reg. 494/17, s.)   5. Long hair is required to be tie back. 6. For everyone’s health those exhibiting symptoms of illness are asked to please stay at home.
