Description :

Starting November 18th, 2023 our Saturday Open Gym from 3:00 to 4:30 pm will be available to members only, via online
pre-registration
You will no longer be able to register in-person (Sat only)

We will have limited spaces available for each drop-in of 35 people. 

Registration will open at noon the Friday before the drop-in day and close at 2:30 p.m. on the day of. For example, If Drop-in was running on Nov 11, 2023. Registration for that program will open at noon on November 10th and be open until 2:30 p.m. on Nov 11th.

Important:

1. Register each person who will be attending the open gym session. If you are not registered, you will not be able to attend.
2. All participants require membership, including adults and children. Exceptions(children 17 months and younger do not require a membership or registration online)
3. Trial rates are now SOLD OUT for the season
4. Children under 18 years old must be accompanied by a registered parent/guardian on the floor with them at all times.  Children dropped off without their parent/guardian will not be allowed to enter. (Max ratio of 1 parent to 3 children)
5. Staff will meet participates at the door to be checked in
6. We are SOLD OUT of Casual and family passes for this season. A new service option for “Babynastics” and
   “Weekday Only” will be offered, which will exclude Saturday access.

Why is This Happening?

The club has seen a 30% increase in membership since this time last year, and we were already at club
capacity. Winter is busy for drop-in, and we must ensure we can serve our members before adding
more.  Saturday Open Gym lineups have been causing disruption to our classes and is creating tension as
we have to turn families away regularly.

Reminders: 

• Bring a water bottle 
• Wear tight-fitting activewear. No jeans, belts or dresses will be permitted. 
• Bare feet only
• Only registered and insured participants are allowed on the floor. 
• Spectators must be upstairs to help us keep our lobby flowing, and our athletes focused on their gymnastics.

Notes : Please only come to class if in excellent health: If your child becomes sick, please stay home - even if they've tested negative for COVID-19. If participants come to class with symptoms, they will be sent home. You call or email us at info@polarettes.org to let our staff know if you are unable to attend due to illness. *Form required* There will be an electronic form that MUST be signed before classes begin for participation to be allowed. This form will be emailed before classes start. A legal guardian must sign all forms. Health and Safety  By registering, you agree to follow all current Yukon Health guidelines and our Return to Play health and safety guidelines, as well as our cancellation policies for medical requests. This fee covers your child's membership to Gymnastics Canada, Yukon Gymnastics Association, Gymnastics BC Insurance, and Polarettes club membership from September 1, 2023, to August 31, 2024
