This class is designed to get the budding young creative some time with all mediums available to an artist in the studio. Students will go through a diverse curriculum designed to sample all studio subjects, such as Printmaking, Sculpture, Collage, Painting & Drawing. The course is designed to take a deep dive into art making, art history and touch on art theory in an age appropriate way. Inspired by a full immersive art school model, the program aims to bring out your child’s inner artist.

Your child will:

• Receive sequential visual art learning that includes art history & art theory.
• Work in an array of different mediums and styles.
• Understand how to build basic concepts into your artmaking.
• Learn how to create a portfolio & put together an art show.

*Graduation includes an art show for parents and the public!

*Portfolio included to store & showcase 2D artworks.

*Certificate from the school for completing the course.

*Guest Artist lesson included

Broken into three sections:

Sept-Jan: Drawing & Painting: Landscape, figures, still life, abstract.

Feb-Mar: Printmaking & Collage
Collage: Paper, Photo or Mixed Media
Printmaking: Relief, Intaglio or Screen.

April-June: Sculpture: Clay, Paper Mache or Assemblage.
