Notes : Weather: Lessons are cancelled or rescheduled only in the event of lightning within 5 miles of the Indoor Pool. Cancellations are determined 30 minutes before the start time of each class. Scheduled into each session is one make-up day per week for weather cancellations. Any lost days beyond that accommodation are outside of our control. These make-up sessions are intended for cancellation of the entire day’s class by TCAP and are not available for individual scheduling conflicts or for students not participating in class for any reason. Instructors will send group emails in case of lightning-related cancellations. Lesson Make-ups: There are no lesson make-ups or rescheduling of session times because of classes missed or family scheduling conflicts. Refunds will not be given for lessons missed. Please only sign up for session times that you are available to attend class. Start Time: Please arrive just 10 minutes prior to your class to prepare for the lesson. Lessons begin and end according to scheduled time. Please bring something to entertain siblings not participating in lessons. Only enrolled students are allowed in the water, and only during their scheduled lesson. Because of current health concerns, Swim Team Style students should arrive dressed to swim and with all personal equipment in a mesh bag. Swimmers will enter the pool deck and go to their assigned spots on the bleachers until the Coach calls for them. They can use their time to disrobe, and prepare swim gear. They leave their shoes, robes, and towels at their assigned spot. Seating may be limited for spectators and require the coach to rotate viewers to maintain spacing. Class Cancellations: Cancellations requested one week or more in advance of the program start date can be credited to the family account for a full credit, or a refund given less 20% of the registration fees paid. Cancellations requested within the final week, but more than 72 hours (by 5pm) prior to the program start date can be refunded less 50% of the registration fees paid. No refunds will be considered if requested less than 72 hours (by 5pm) prior to the program start date. Transfers: It is important to initially enroll in the correct class, not above or below student’s skill level (the swimmer should be challenged, but not overwhelmed) AND during a time that does not conflict with other family activities. Skill levels are posted at PlayTC.com, along with the schedule. Please use these postings to help you coordinate your calendar before your session starts. Transfers requested one week or more in advance of the program start date are available. There will be a 20% Transfer Fee. Transfers requested within the final week, but more than 72 hours (by 5pm) prior to the program start date can be made IF there is room in the SAME calendar session for the desired class level. There will be a 50% Transfer Fee. Transfer requests for a DIFFERENT calendar session will be considered a cancellation. No Transfers will be considered if requested less than 72 hours (by 5pm) prior to the program start date. Medical Refunds For Classes: Medical Refunds will be granted at a prorated amount upon receiving a doctor’s note. Prorated amount will begin on the date the note is received by the Aquatic Office Staff, not the date of the note regardless of when the illness or injury occurred. We reserve the right to verify these notes with the doctor’s office. Cancellations or Transfers made by Parks and Recreation: Programs canceled by The Colony Parks and Recreation Department due to low enrollment or other circumstances will result in the patron’s choice of full refund, transfer, or credit to their Family Amelia account. Please note that certain programs may have additional limits, and/or restrictions to refund policy. Lesson Expiration Policy: Lessons must be used within the purchased calendar session. Any remaining lessons will not roll over to a later calendar session and will expire without refund.

Prérequis : None- all skill levels and course descriptions are established with the instructor during the first session.
