Notes : Novice is a beginner-friendly program with a short term commitment.  Teams prepare elements of cheer like stunts (acrobatics), dance, gymnastic tumbling, teamwork, and so much more!  They will learn a routine that will be performed at our showcase and a local competition.  Competitions at the Novice level are on a Non-Ranked scoring system.  In Novice, at competition awards, teams will be announced and awarded “outstanding” etc.  The purpose is a fun entry experience to simply enjoy the sport with less pressure! Performances: Apr 5 - WC Showdown (Edmonds) Apr 13 - SpringFest Cheer Championships - Abbotsford Practice Frequency: Once per week (no class on long weekends),  plus some add on practices ***Practice time is subject to change. ***In special circumstances, for scheduling reasons - Teams may be split or combined, or an athlete may be moved from one team to another.  We will discuss any changes by email in advance! Tuition Includes: Uniform & Bow, Training, Athlete entry to Showcase and Competition Not Included: BCSC/Cheer Canada Fee, Black athletic shoes and Black Crew Socks  Classes to Add: Gym & Tumble, or other skill development classes if desired. Attendance Required: Must be very good - “rarely miss”.   This is a short term program and requires a lot of learning.  1 athlete missing a cheer practice affects the whole team (think of it like this - take 1 person out of the bottom of a pyramid, how do you do the pyramid?)

Prérequis : MUST BE BIRTH YEARS: 2015-2019 Able to attend showcase and competition dates. Able to have near-perfect attendance. Ability to follow safety rules
