Planning your International Certificate of Competency (ICC) Afloat Challenge this summer and looking to get some practice time in before the testing? The ICC Afloat Preparation Course is designed to get you up to speed on the skills you will be expected to demonstrate for the ICC Afloat Challenge. Taught on our ICC certified, Hunter 31 this course is ideal for any intermediate level sailor looking to be prepared for the ICC Challenge. The ICC is divided into two parts: the theory and exam and the on-water challenge. HBSC offers sailors the opportunity to complete exam and alfoat challenge portions of the certification. The theory can be completed through IYT directly. The on-water challenge may be competed on your boat or on an HBSC School boat. --------- INFORMATION ABOUT THE ICC ON-WATER CHALLENGE ICC On-Water Challenge with Theory Exam ICC Theory: ICC theory can be done online through IYTs online training modules. The online theory training is free, however does not in include the exam. We recommend you write the exam with HBSC at the time of your ICC afloat Evaluation.
