Ferndale Parks & Recreation in partnership with mParks is pleased to announce the 2024 mParks Grand Experience program! Travelers ages 50+ are invited to enjoy the best of Mackinac Island & the Grand Hotel at a greatly-reduced, all-inclusive rate! Embark on this fantastic opportunity to see Mackinac Island in the spring, experience the beautiful Grand Hotel before the busy season starts, & spend time with family & friends (old & new)! This opportunity has something for everyone, & only one person in each room needs to be at least 50 years of age which makes it a great multi-generational opportunity! It is also a great gift idea for parents, grandparents or yourself to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or Mother's Day! Even if you have been in the past, no 2 rooms at the Grand are the same, & activities vary year to year – don’t miss out! Registration includes: Additional program fees will be charged for wine tasting, beading workshop, & ballroom dancing. There is an additional fee if guests wish to visit Ft. Mackinac during the carriage tour. Gift certificates are available for purchase through Grand Hotel & can be used to pay for add-ons to the Grand Experience trip! More information about the Grand Hotel can be found at www.grandhotel.com BUS PICK UP & DROP OFF LOCATION: Ferndale Parks & Recreation Office at Incubizo - 1938 Burdette Street, Ferndale MI 48220 PRICING: Occupancy Fee Per Person Single $1150 Remaining balance will be split into equal monthly payments on the 2nd of every month until final balance due date of Tuesday, April 2, 2024. All registrants must have balance paid in full by this date. No refunds. Important Payment Dates: 1/5/24 - Initial $150 deposit due (EXTENDED TO 3/2/24) 2/2/24 - First Installment Payment Due 3/2/24 - Second Installment Payment Due 4/2/24 - Final Installment Payment Due. Balance must be paid by this date. WHEN REGISTERING, ONLY INCLUDE THE PEOPLE YOU ARE PAYING FOR. OCCUPANCY DISCOUNTS WILL BE APPLIED DURING THE CHECKOUT PROCESS. PAYMENT METHODS: Credit card, Check, & Cash **Most rooms at Grand Hotel have either 2 double beds (not queen size) or 1 king size bed per room. For triple occupancy, a rollaway bed can be added at no extra charge. The rollaway will be delivered upon request after occupying the room. Some of the hotel rooms are small for 3 people. Room assignments are “luck of the draw.” Please keep this in mind when deciding your room arrangements. mParks recommends that participants with physical, mental & emotional restrictions be accompanied by a caregiver. Caregiver’s rate is not reduced. Please note: Mackinac Island has limited medical facilities. Travelers Insurance is highly encouraged. There are no refunds for this trip.
