Description:
Learn the basic skills of soccer in a fun atmosphere through Ferndale Parks & Recreation's Soccer league! Practices will be held on local fields around Ferndale, with games being played on Saturday mornings some Sundays and selected weeknights. Weeknight games will be dependent upon the specific league and the total number of teams formed in each league. The volunteer coach of each team will determine the practice day, time, and location and will be reaching out to their players. Players will need to supply cleats, socks, shin guards, shorts/pants, and a water bottle. Team jerseys will be provided by Ferndale Parks & Recreation. Age Groups offered: U4 1/1/2020-12/31/2021 U6 1/1/2018-12/31/2019 U8 1/1/2016-12/31/2017 U10 1/1/2014-12/31/2015 U12 1/1/2012-12/31/2013 (contingent upon Volunteer coach and player registration) (Volunteer coaches recieve a refund for up to 2 of their children per season) If refund is still not issued after coaches meeting PLEASE EMAIL: llizak@ferndalemi.gov Highly skilled players are encouraged to play up an age group.
