Description:

Children work at their own pace through the KinderGym curriculum, which includes 4 levels. Most children will complete one or two levels per season (September to June). There is no requirement or expectation that children must complete all 4 levels. The class includes children who are new to gymnastics, those who participated in MiniGym and children who are returning for their second year of KinderGym. Our "experienced" gymnasts act as leaders and set an example for those who are new to KinderGym.

The focus in KinderGym is to continue building and improving FUN-damental movement skills including balancing, running, jumping, catching, hopping, throwing, galloping, skipping, leaping and kicking. The children will also work on basic gymnastics skills including jumps, rolls, and cartwheels.

For gymnastics classes, children should wear...

• Elastic waist shorts or leggings and a t-shirt.
• Hair off the face and if it is below the shoulders, in a ponytail or bun. 
• No jewellery except small earrings.
• Bare feet 

Children are encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle with their name on it.

Please do not bring valuables to the gym.
