Description:

AWESOME ADVENTURE day camp is designed for participants who are less independent and require higher levels of staff support such as: personal care, mobility, feeding & dressing assistance while attending our day camps.  (1-2 staff to 1 participant ratio)

The program will offer games and activities along with an emphasis on language and communication skills, social skill development, decrease of challenging behaviors and incidental learner, which are all therapeutic elements to enrich the livelihood of our participants.  We will also utilize Positive Reinforcement strategies in a natural setting. 

Pack a lunch, snacks, water and come hang out with us for the week!  Campers will be transported daily to and from our scheduled activities.  Some of these activities may include: day trips to Pike Lake with a BBQ, Wander's Tiny Farm, Forestry Farm and more!

Required age: 7 - 18 on the day of the activity

Notes: Each participant may register for a maximum of 1 week of day camp total. The Day Camp Screening must be completed prior to registration launch and will indicate which day camp your child is eligible to register into. Participants are not eligible to register into both Fun in the City and Awesome Adventure day camps.

Prerequisites: Ages 7 - 18 years old
