Thank you to all who registered for this. Your child's day camp skill has been assigned to them in your Amilia account and you are eligible to register them for their specific Pre-Screened day camp.
Summer Program Registration will launch on Sunday May 5 at 6:00 PM sharp. We had an overwhelmingly large quantity of parents register for our Pre-Screening which means that the number of day camp spots available is far less than the number of campers able to register. Because of this, our day camps are going to fill very quickly so please be logged on Amilia and ready to go on time.
If you are unable to secure a day camp spot on registration day, please join our waitlists because it may be possible, after registration launch, to increase our day camp spots. If we are able to do so, we will contact families directly.
Once you have successfully loaded a camp week into your cart, that camp spot is held for you while you complete the registration process. You have 30 minutes to complete your registration. A clock will countdown on your screen indicating how much time is remaining. If time runs out before completing your registration, your camp spot will be released for someone else to register into.
There are 4 steps to complete registration on Amilia:
1. Your Order
- Selecting day camp week, adding a Financial Assistance code if applicable, clicking on check out
2. Your Information
- Verifying your contact info & complete Participant Information questions
3. Payment
- Selecting a payment method and completing online payment
4. Confirmation
- Registration is complete
(For more detailed instructions, please refer to our “How to Register for Day Camp” PDF attachment emailed to Membership)
If you select a camp week and are immediately redirected to our waitlist, this indicates that the camp week is already full and you are unable to register into it. Please join our waitlist for that particular week and then go view our other camp week options that your child is eligible to join to see if there is an available spot.
1. Family Programs reserves the right to cancel any of our programs due to unforeseen circumstances upon completion of registration.
2. Payment is required at the time of registration for all of our programs by Credit Card or Bank Account. This means you cannot register into a program without paying immediately at checkout.
3. If you have already been approved for Financial Assistance, please use your unique discount code we provided you with (ahead of time by email) at the time of check out so that you are not charged full price to register. *Note: All Financial Assistance requests must have been made, reviewed and approved prior to launch day (Deadline was April 7/24).
4. Each participant will be eligible to register for a maximum of 1 week of day camp.
5. If any of our programs are full, please join our wait list. It’s possible a spot may open up closer to summer and by joining our waitlist it makes it easy for us to contact you directly to fill a spot.
6. Individualized Funding – You are able to use your Individualized Funding towards all of our Autism Services Family Program fees. Parents will have to pay for the program fee at the time of registration and then keep their receipts according to the funding procedure put in place by the Government.
7. Autism Services is no longer able to direct bill Cognitive Disability Strategy (CDS) & Social Services for program fees.
1. There will be no make up sessions or refunds offered for missed program classes during the program session.
2. You will be ineligible to register for any future programs with us if there is an outstanding balance on your account owed to Autism Services. All outstanding balances must be paid in full prior to registering.
3. All program registration is completed through our online platform, Amilia. Parents/Guardians are responsible to set up your family account in order to be eligible to register for future programming with us. Please confirm with admin that your account is set up properly as specific memberships must be added which can only be done so by admin.
4. A form of payment is required upon registering for any programs now so please be prepared to pay by Visa, MasterCard or bank account (Transit #, Institution # & Account # required).
* Note: If you choose to pay by bank account, and your payment does not go through due to an NSF (Non-Sufficient Funds), you will be responsible to pay an NSF fee to Autism Services in the amount of $10 as well as any NSF fees your bank may charge you directly. Autism Services will not cover the cost of any NSF fees incurred.
5. All programs have limited space. They will fill up fast. If a program is full, we encourage you to join our wait list. If you are on our wait list and a spot becomes available, we will contact you directly.
6. All program refund requests must be emailed to us and will be assessed on a case by case basis.
7. Our refund policy has been updated. Please read through it carefully below.
8. Parents/Guardians: If you are off site while your child is attending an Autism Services Family Program, we ask that you are available to be reached by phone during program hours. If you will be unavailable, you must provide us with an alternate emergency contact.
9. Participants: Autism Services promotes an inclusive environment with safety being our number one priority. Bullying, swearing and taunting will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the program at the Program Director’s discretion.
10. Please read the following to ensure the safety of all of our staff and participants during our programs:
- While attending an Autism Services Family Program, participants are prohibited from purchasing, being under the influence of, using, possessing, selling or otherwise being involved with illegal drugs, alcohol or the use of other controlled substances. Violation of this policy will result in the On-Site Coordinator contacting the participant’s parent/guardian immediately and requesting that they are picked up from the program site.
- A follow up meeting will be scheduled involving the Director and/or Coordinator of Family Programs, the participant and their parent/guardian to discuss the incident and whether or not the participant is welcome to continue attending the program for the duration of the session.
