Polymer Clay Bead Workshop K-12

Description:

Hang out with Miss Shirley and design some cool beads for a necklace, key chain, gift or make beads to start a collection! Each student will receive colored polymer clay for the class. We recommend a parent be present to help K-2 students if possible. K-5 students will need parent supervision for the second part of the project since they will need to bake their pieces for hardening purposes.

All supplies will be provided free of charge thanks to a grant from Variety - The Children's Charity! After you enroll, and receive your Zoom meeting room number, you may pick up your class supplies at the Music and Arts Studios. Members may also use their free member art box for more creative ideas.

Students, please follow the EIAA Zoom Room rules as follows:
1. Keep your camera on so the teacher can help assist you and see how you are doing with a project.
2. Refrain from eating and drinking while in class.
3. Microphone should be off for the most part, especially if your house is a loud environment,, unless you want to chat with others, including the teacher.
4. Be positive when seeing what others are creating and be sure and compliment the artwork of classmates.
