Back by popular demand, our 2D to 3D Design class is a great way to explore the artistic side of Computer Aided Design software.

In art class, participants will explore what it takes to make 2D drawings look three dimensional, then work toward representing a more complex three dimensional model with shading and perspective. It will involve sketching and painting.

In engineering class, participants will work to represent 3D designs in CAD software (Computer Aided Design). This simplified CAD still takes some effort to master, but participants will definitely have time to test their skills by designing 3D models that we will then print on our 3D printers for participants to prepare and paint in their later art sessions.
