Description:
This camp will help students learn the ropes of 3D modeling and printing and give a good challenge to those who have already learned and want to hone their skills. We'll be using CAD software (computer aided design) with specially crafted lessons and the help of knowledgeable teachers who can direct and assist students at their own pace. The last days of camp will focus on the Sim Lab, where students can simulate physics and movement of their models on the computer.

Required age: 9 - 15 on the day of the activity
Notes: We highly recommend packing a snack to eat during mid-class break. Students staying for AM and PM camp sessions should also bring a peanut free lunch.
Prerequisites: For best experience, participants should be able to read at a fourth grade reading level or higher. Students should also be comfortable using a computer mouse, right and left click.
