Description:
In this fast-paced class, students will turbocharge their grasp of cause and effect relationships in the exploration of force and motion. Join us as we race Hot Wheels model cars and design cool trick tracks, all with the aim of learning about physics! Students will connect the attributes of objects, such as cars and trucks, to the push and pull actions that can cause an object to move in different ways, depending on the attributes of the car and the forces used to cause movement. This time we're adding in the force of a motorized launcher!
Mandatory membership(s):
Available: 8/12
Price: $300.00 Taxes waived
Required age: 4 - 8 on the day of the activity
Notes: We highly recommend packing a snack to eat during mid-class break. Students staying for AM and PM camp sessions should also bring a nut free lunch.
Prerequisites: Please practice your "lefts" and "rights" to get ready for camp! We'll also be doing some basic addition.
