Description:
This week we're out to save the world! Or at least the earth! Environmental engineers help protect the earth from human interference, as well as humans from natural disasters. This week, our inventors will be challenged to protect against solar radiation, filter water for plants, make their own paper, and build a device to pick up trash, all while keeping the three R's in mind! We'll explore what exactly recycling is, and actually do it in the lab! We'll also see how many of our inventions we can build reusing recyclable materials. We'll also try to use design plans and budgets to reduce our use of resources overall!
