Description:
Ready for the virtual ball game? Using Scratch 3.0, the well-loved introductory coding software from MIT, we'll be designing, coding, and testing our own custom arcade style sports themed video games to play on the computer. Students will learn about animation, video sensing, conditional statements, event triggers and much more. Join us for tennis pong and archery shooting! Jump into a video sensing game of baseball, and be the goalie in an automatic soccer game!

Required age: 4 - 7 on the day of the activity
Notes: We highly recommend packing a snack to eat during mid-class break. Students staying for AM and PM camp sessions should also bring a nut free lunch.
Prerequisites: Familiarity with using a computer mouse is very helpful for this class.
