Description:

This camp includes the morning session, World Games Robotics, and the afternoon session, Mission to Mars: Survival on the Red Planet. Additonally, there will be lunch from noon - 1pm with supervised free time and an option to purchase a hot lunch (or young engineers can bring their own). We are a nut-free campus.

Dive into the heart of the Artemis Mission, a cornerstone in humanity's quest to colonize the Red Planet. Explore the essentials of survival in an alien world—water, oxygen, solar power, and shielding from the fierce UV radiation. This camp is your ticket to thrilling hands-on adventures, where experiments and construction challenges come to life. In a spirit of collaboration and innovation, you'll team up to conceive and construct a model of your very own Mars habitat. Prepare to embark on an unforgettable journey to the future of space exploration!

World Games Robotics:

Welcome to World Games Robotics, a place where engineers work to design the best experience for athletes, and robots compete in athletic challenges. In this program, students will use the EFK Engineering Design Process to take on a variety of challenges using the Vex IQ robotics kit. Students will learn to build robots and use block coding to compete in a variety of events, such as breakdancing, hockey, running, and rugby. This is a gold-medal-worthy program filled with all of the fun and excitement of the World Games!
