Description:

This camp session will introduce the participants to concepts in design engineering and robotics. Using various age appropriate robotics and logic platforms including Lego robotics, Ozobots, KiBo and Botley robots to highlight a few, the kids will work with and gain a fundamental understanding of simple and powered machines, STEM concepts, mechanical structures, as well as motion and energy constructs and mechanisms. The robotic platforms, in conjunction with individual motor and sensor parts/creations, will allow the participants to develop and experience a broad range of models and machines utilizing concepts such as information inputs and outputs, forces and motor motion, energy creation, and stable structures. Hands-on programming and coding the respective robots and machines will fully accompany the play based robotics camp experience. Prior robotics exposure is not required. Every Robotics Camp will feature a half day of Robotics instruction as well as a half day of games, fun, and out-trips with our amazing GNAG staff!
