Description:

This class has twelve lessons. In this class, the students will learn to properly analyze a fiction short story of their choice. They will learn how to properly analyze this piece of writing by examining the theme and purpose behind the work. They will be responsible for finding the short story and for identifying a topic which they would like to explore. They will complete research on that topic. The students will be taught proper formatting using MLA to both record and cite their source material. At the end of the class, they will have learned the skills needed to analyze literature confidently and properly.
