Description:

Water and carbon are necessary for life, but where do they come from and how do they move through the environment in different forms? In this program, we will learn all about the water cycle with a dice game, and we will make a watershed model to learn about the flow of water and how it might get polluted by different industries. We will also discuss plant stomata and the vital role of plants in carbon cycling. 

This program covers BC Science curriculum including:

  • Water sources including local watersheds

  • Water conservation

  • The water cycle

  • Structural features of living things in the local environment

  • Wind, water, and ice change the shape of the land.
