Ceramics Open Studio 30-day Membership

This pass gives students access to the Ceramics Studio for Open Studio members. Open studio members should have previously taken a class at the ArtsCenter, or should have prior ceramics experience elsewhere. If you have not been a student with the ArtsCenter before, our Studio Coordinator may request a brief interview with you before using our Open Studio.

Note: Any students currently enrolled in ceramics classes at the ArtsCenter get unlimited Open Studio access for the duration of their class + a 2-week grace period after the class ends.

Open Studio Use Process: 

  1. Subscribe for Ceramics Open Studio 30-day Membership. This gives you unlimited access to Open Studio during listed Open Studio hours for 30 days from your date of purchase. 
  2. When you arrive to use Open Studio please sign in on the clipboard. If you have any questions see Studio Assistant on duty.
  3. Open Studio patrons must renew their pass every 30 days to maintain access to Open Studio
  4. Studio space is first-come-first-served during the listed hours. Please give your name to the box office or front desk staff member when you arrive to check-in. 
  5. Open Studio hours are subject to change each quarter, but are typically around 20-30 hours a week with some daytime, evening, and weekend hours. We will post the most updated hours below.

Spring 2024 Schedule (in effect through June 8)*

Monday: No open studio
Tuesday: 9am-6pm
Wednesday: 10am-4pm
Thursday: 3pm-9pm
Friday: 3pm-9pm
Saturday: 1pm-7pm
Sunday: 1pm-6pm

Summer 2024 Schedule (in effect beginning June 9)*

Monday: No open studio
Tuesday: 1pm-6pm
Wednesday: No open studio
Thursday: 1pm-9pm
Friday: 4pm-9pm
Saturday: 1pm-7pm
Sunday: 1:30pm-9pm

The cost of this pass does not include bags of clay. Bags of clay can be purchased for $35 (new) or $15 (reclaim). 

NOTE: The monthly subscription charge of $100 will be prorated to reflect the number of dates that remain in the billing cycle. 

NOTE: Open Studio “classes” do not provide instruction, though there will be personnel on-site to oversee studio functions, glazing, and firing. Please visit a current list of ArtSchool classes if you are interested in receiving ceramics instruction. Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds or allow date substitutions for missed studio access hours.
