Description:

Kindergym is designed to provide boys and girls, ages 2-4, with an introduction to floor gymnastics, tumbling, acrobatics, gross motor development, and movement education through self-exploratory play. Kindergym instructors work to build each child’s self-esteem and independence. Mats, low safe beams, and obstacle courses are utilized throughout the curriculum. The proper timing and use of this program should enhance the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of the children while building their sense of self and others. This program does not have a specific curriculum as the goal is to encourage children to feel safe and accustomed to the equipment, staff and space.

Required age: 3 - 4 on the day of the activity

Notes: - There is NO parent viewing area. Parents and other children can either leave the building or wait in the parent waiting room. Payments are DUE by the first day of classes. Any persons that have not paid by this date will incur a $50 late payment fee. Payments can be made by e-transfer to westperthdanceclub@gmail.com, cheque made out to West Perth Dance Club or by cash in a sealed, labeled envelope placed in drop box. Registration is not confirmed until payment is received. If there are people on the waiting list and payment has not been made you will be bumped to make room for the waiting list applicants. Cancellation Policy: We understand that sometimes plans change unexpectedly. If you need to cancel your class, please be aware of our cancellation policy: • If you cancel more than 30 days before the activity, there is no fee. • If you cancel between 30 and 7 days before the activity, there is a $5 fee. • If you cancel less than 7 days before the activity, there is a $50 fee. • If you cancel more than 30 days after the activity, there is a $175 fee. If applicable, please note that the fee will be deducted from your refund. If you have any questions about our cancellation policy, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Prerequisites: No parents allowed! Your child should be comfortable with some parent separation.
