Description:

Dancers will begin class with floor stretches specific to developing strength in their feet. They will be taught about maintaining correct posture—everything from the bottom of their feet to the top of the head. 

They will learn the names of the steps and what they are called in the RAD and/or BATD syllabus. Dancers will attempt new jumps and execute them with more repetition. Class time will also be spent learning basic floor barre skills.

Required age: 7 - 9 on the day of the activity

Notes: - There is NO parent viewing area. Parents and other children can either leave the building or wait in the parent waiting room. Payments are DUE by the first day of classes. Any persons that have not paid by this date will incur a $50 late payment fee. Payments can be made by e-transfer to westperthdanceclub@gmail.com, cheque made out to West Perth Dance Club or by cash in a sealed, labeled envelope placed in drop box. Registration is not confirmed until payment is received. If there are people on the waiting list and payment has not been made you will be bumped to make room for the waiting list applicants. Cancellation Policy: We understand that sometimes plans change unexpectedly. If you need to cancel your class, please be aware of our cancellation policy: • If you cancel more than 30 days before the activity, there is no fee. • If you cancel between 30 and 7 days before the activity, there is a $5 fee. • If you cancel less than 7 days before the activity, there is a $50 fee. • If you cancel more than 30 days after the activity, there is a $175 fee.
