Summer Day Camp provides an excellent opportunity for children to make new friends, learn about teamwork and have an active healthy, outdoor summer experience.

Campers are typically placed in teams by age, with camp counsellors rotating through the various teams. Mornings are typically spent playing games, participating in organized activities, and making crafts, while afternoons are spent swimming and playing by the beach.

Required age: 5 - 12 as of 12/31/2023

Notes: All campers need a WJCC Camp Hat. They can be ordered online and picked up the WJCC.

Prerequisites: Children must have turned 5 by December 31 of the year before camp. This is based on the HRCE age requirements for Primary. Children must have completed Primary, or meet the minimum age requirement and be able to dress and use the washroom independently. Children may be as old as 12 by December 31 the year before camp. This is equivalent to having completed Grade 7.
