Every Robotics Camp will feature a half day of Robotics instruction as well as a half day of games, fun, and out-trips with our amazing GNAG staff! This program is designed to introduce various simple and intermediate robotics platforms to the children. Using the engineering design cycle, children will explore and build machines and creations featuring working motors, gears and sensors, subsequently programming their various models to come to life. The sessions will explore a series of cross-curricular, theme based activities while developing their skills in STEM as well as language, arts and literacy. The hands-on engineering and age appropriate play based learning activities will use Lego robotics as well various diverse robotics platforms to foster development of engineering abilities, programming and coding skills, cognitive thinking, critical reasoning, and problem solving through team work and collaboration. Within notification period: Refund with 7% admin fee or credit on GNAG account with no fee. 2. Less than notification period: Refunds or credits on GNAG account will not be issued. 3. Change your mind? Got a waitlist spot? Notify us first! We can help do the transfer and avoid the admin fees. A transfer requires the same period of notification as a withdrawal. All our camps are subject to change due to the ongoing COVID-19 issues. We will follow all protocol given by OPH and the Provincial Government. We will endeavour to provide updates to our programs ASAP. Please see our parent handbook released in June for details on our best practices to keep our campers safe and healthy, including what to bring to camp each day, and camper expectations. In the week prior to the camp, our counsellors will call new participants and you will be emailed a schedule for the week. Weekly schedules will be online 2 weeks before the camp start date.
