Swimming in a group not only gives you an extra push to get to the pool and train harder but also provides you with great feedback from our coaches on your stroke! On February 13th, 2024 we will be starting our 14 week Group Tri a Tri or Sprint Triathlon Training Program! The feedback from the past couple of years has been amazing. Not only are our athletes physcially well prepared to conquer their triathlons but the knowledge and confidence they have at the start line is awesome to see. We understand that triathlons can be intimidating but with this group triathlon program you will get everything you need including professional coaches and a supportive bunch of new friends to make the whole experience a blast!
Once the sprint program is complete, we will then start up the group Olympic Distance program on June 18th. Many of our members graduate and build up for the next distance so they can complete an Olympic Distance race by the end of the Summer!

Angela Beare is a Registered Dietician Sports Nutritionist. She offers personalized sports nutrition consultations so you can plan your daily sports nutrition needs and create training and racing strategies around fuel and hydration. Angela is a bilingual Registered Dietitian, licensed with the College of Dietitians of Ontario and the Nova Scotia Dietetic Association. She is also a member of the Dietitians of Canada. Angela graduated from the University of Ottawa’s Honours Bachelor in Nutrition Sciences (2013), which includes both course work and a dietetic internship. Recently she graduated from the International Olympic Committee’s Diploma in Sports Nutrition, where she learned from the world’s leading experts in this field.

JOIN THE GROUP and train virtually for a Half Ironman at the end of June. We will be targeting the training around the Half Ironman in Mt Tremblant but Muskoka would also work. We want you to go into your Half Ironman not only with a big confident smile knowing that you have physically, mentally and nutritionally prepared for this event but also surrounded with a bunch of new friends and caring coaches.

Private swimming lessons are a great way to get started in the pool or make some technique tweaks to make you a more efficient swimmer. Sign up with one of our coaches for private lessons. We use Total Immersion swimming drills to help even the sinkers learn how to swim! Contact: info@pbest.ca to schedule your lesson.
SINGLE LESSON: Schedule your day/time with your coach FIRST by email or text and return here. To register for one lesson, click on Private Swim Lesson, click on drop-in and select your scheduled day on the eligible activities calendar. (don't worry about the time...software glitch)
MULTIPASS: If you want to purchase a multipass 5 swim lesson pack, click on the blue "Multipass" tab up top to get additional savings. Purchase the "Multipass" 5 lesson swim pack. Schedule your day/time with your coach FIRST by email or text and return here. Click on the mulitpass tab, eligible activities calendar and choose your day (don't worry about the time...software glitch)

We know that finishing your 1st Triathlon, Ironman or Marathon can be intimidating and confusing. Do you need some extra help to make it to the finish line or achieve that personal best?
Leave the guesswork to our professional coaches who will plan how many times a week you need to do each sport, for how long and at what intensities. There are no cookie cutter programs here. We review your schedule with you and make sure your training fits in with your work and family life.
We offer monthly training plans for new triathletes to Ironman Kona qualifiers using Training Peaks to plan out your daily, weekly and monthly workouts and have you peaking in time for your A Race!
After your initial assessment with your multisport coach, you will receive a plan geared towards your A race, a monthly program with individualized daily workouts, email support and your paces, cycling power and heart rates will all be tracked on Training Peaks and Strava. Depending on your plan, we will meet every 2 or 3 months online and reset training goals, racing goals and create a new training plan to move you ahead.
Whether you want to go to Kona for the Ironman or complete your first triathlon, we have programs for everyone!
