Own it – Amilia Award Winner: Pamela Flatter, YMCA of Greater Dayton

This year, we launched a new initiative to recognize mission-driven organizations — those who transform our shared values into tangible impact. The Amilia Awards are an annual celebration that honor our customers, highlighting their stories and contributions while reminding us that when one of us grows, we all grow.

The 2025 Own It Award goes to Pamela from the YMCA of Greater Dayton, whose leadership and ownership mindset stood out from the very first day of onboarding. 

What “Owning It” like Pamela Truly Means  

“Owning it” means delivering on our word and doing what’s right, not just what’s easy. It’s about showing up and following through relentlessly. Pamela Flatter shows accountability and is focused on solutions, that’s why we did not hesitate to announce her as our winner for this value.

Throughout the onboarding of Dayton YMCA, Pamela demonstrated exactly what it looks like to Own it in practice. She anticipated needs before they ever had a chance to become obstacles, and she consistently mobilized her team with clarity and direction. Every decision reflected a deep awareness of how it would affect their members, and she approached challenges the moment they appeared — constructively, confidently, and with impact in mind.  

Her leadership didn’t just move the project forward; it elevated the entire collaboration. Working with someone who shows up with that level of purpose and accountability is the definition of a true partner.
